What HUD 184 Is
The Section 184 Indian Home Loan Guarantee Program is administered by HUD’s Office of Native American Programs. It was created because conventional mortgage lending has historically been difficult to obtain on tribal trust land, and it guarantees loans so that lenders can extend financing where they otherwise could not.

Who Is Eligible
Eligibility for Section 184 is set by HUD and is not something Waypoint can waive. It rests on tribal enrolment and on where the property sits. A Waypoint lender will confirm both before you go further.
